Plumas County Sheriff's Dept is looking for information leading to surviv ors for 75 year old Ralph Betts Nielson of Swedes Flat, Keddie.
Nielson, a native of Spanish Fork, Utah died Jan 27 in Plumas Distric t Hospital.
Services were held last Thurs. from Anderson Mortuary with burial follo wing in Quincy East Lawn Cemetery. Sheriff's Deputies have been unable t o identify or locate relatives for Nielson. They believe his name may ha ve been changed from Nelson.
Nielson was apparently separated from his wife in 1928. Anyone havin g information on possible survivors is asked to contact the Sheriff's off ice. PICTURE IS INCLUDED.

HISTORY: Ralph disappeared when his children were young and was not hear d from again until notice was sent to the Spanish Fork police dept. tryin g to locate relatives of the deceased. He had lived a solitary life, pla yed his violin and helped a neighbor lady raise her two sons. After he d isappeared, his mother Laura Betts use to rock back & forth a night cryin g, "Oh, where is my boy tonight." Two years before his death he had tri ed to locate the family by returning to Paul, Idaho where his family us e to reside. By that time, both of his parents were dead and all of th e relatives had long since moved to other parts of the country. He the n returned to his home in Keddie, California where he died 2 years later.
